Brownies

A brownie or chocolate brownie is a typical American dessert. Believed to have made its first public appearance in 1893 at Palmer House Hotel, it is made to order especially for ladies attending a fair which demanded for something more bite sized compared to a piece of cake. Goes well with a topping of ganache or cream cheese and best eaten warm with a serving of vanilla ice cream.
